Founder of My Soul Coach

Neil Sunley is a therapist, founder of My Soul Coach®, creator of the MSC Method® (Mental State Conditioning), and a working actor.
He blends evidence-based psychology, hypnotherapy and performance coaching to help people who need to deliver under pressure.
Neil has been coaching since 1996, beginning as a head instructor operating a full-time martial arts academy, before becoming increasingly drawn to the question of mental toughness and making the journey from fighter to therapist.
A period of severe depression became a turning point when one powerful therapeutic intervention shifted his trajectory into studying psychology and mental health.
Since then, Neil has spent more than 20 years exploring breakthrough approaches in hypnosis, cognitive, philosophical, and psychological methods, alongside ongoing MSc-level university studies in performance and mental health, determined to seek out the most potent change therapies available.
Today, he runs a thriving therapy practice working with actors, musicians, athletes, and other high performers, focusing on practical tools that bring real change rather than abstract theory, helping performers manage auditions, self-tapes, and on-set pressure with greater calm, confidence, and control.
He provides one-to-one and online therapy for performers and works with organisations and events to deliver workshops on performance psychology and mental health. Further information: www.mysoulcoach.co.uk
