Announcing the Social Media Competition for Performers: Shine on Our Virtual Stage at Actors Pro Expo Virtual

Are you a performer looking for a unique opportunity to showcase your talent to industry professionals and peers? Look no further! We are thrilled to announce our exciting social media competition, giving you the chance to perform on our virtual stage at the highly anticipated Actors Pro Expo Virtual 2024.
Our Guest Judges will be picking 4 performers per day to perform on our virtual stage to be viewed by industry guests from across the globe.
How to Enter:
1. Prepare Your Performance: Whether you’re an actor, singer, dancer, or comedian, we want to see your best work! Record a short performance video (up to 2 minutes) that showcases your unique talent. Feel free to use a self-tape you’ve recorded in the past, but please make sure it’s from within the last 6 months!
2. Share Your Video: Post your performance video on Instagram, Twitter or TikTok. Be sure to tag us and use the hashtag #ACTORSPROEXPOSTAGE to ensure your entry is seen. Don’t forget to make your post public so we can find it!
3. Engage Your Audience: Encourage your friends, family, and followers to like, comment, and share your post. The more engagement your video receives, the better your chances of winning.
What You’ll Win:
A Live Performance Spot on Our Virtual Stage: The winning performances will be featured on our virtual live stage during Actors Pro Expo Virtual, putting you in front of a wide audience of industry insiders and fellow performers. We will contact you to arrange a convenient time slot within the 3-day expo.
Exposure and Recognition: Gain visibility and recognition and give yourself the chance to be seen by industry guests from across the globe. The virtual stage will be live streamed throughout the expo, and all attendees, exhibitors, speakers and more will be encouraged to stop by and engage with our virtual stage.
Actors Pro Expo Network: We will be posting about all performers on our blog and social media so it’s a great chance to gain traction to your profile!

Jemima McWilliams
Jemima started her career in the industry as an assistant at The Curtis Brown Group. After a brilliant few years there, she decided to make the move in to Casting and went to work for her aunt, Debbie McWilliams. She is now ten years in! During that time she’s worked across Film, TV and many Short Films. Her credits include the latest James Bond instalment No Time to Die, feature films Tell That To The Winter Sea, Silver, A Christmas Number One, Operation Napoleon, The Amazing Maurice, Fatima and The Rhythm Section. She is a member of the Casting Directors’ Guild in the UK, the International Casting Directors Association and a voting member of BAFTA.
Seth Mason
Seth has most recently been co-casting director on The Split 3 (BBC / Sister) and Rebel Cheer Squad (Netflix / iPlayer), which both aired in 2022, and the shorts Nant and Her Majesty – both of which had official selection at the London Film Festival 2022. He was casting director on The Catch (Projector Pictures for Channel 5) and co-cast season 5 of Unforgotten (Mainstreet for ITV) and the feature film Embers (Mini Productions), all due for release in 2023.
As casting associate, he recently worked on Sherwood (House Productions), The Bubble (Netflix), Crossfire (Dancing Ledge Productions), Des (New Pictures), Starstruck (HBO Max / BBC Three), Worzel Gummidge (Leopard Pictures), World On Fire (Mammoth), Silent Witness (BBC), Baz Luhrmann’s The Secret Life of Flowers for ERDEM x H&M and the hit feature film Crawl (Paramount).
Upcoming projects as casting associate include Platform 7 (Dancing Ledge Productions for ITV1/ITVX), Django (Sky) and Alfonso Cuaran’s new series for Apple.
Other past projects with Victor and Andy include The Rook (Starz/Lionsgate), Leonardo (Lux Vide / Big Light), The Watch (BBC America), Innocent II (TXTV for ITV1), Cleaning Up (Sister Pictures), Dark Money (The Forge), Deep Water (Kudos), Unforgotten III (Mainstreet), The Tunnel III (Sky) and Troy: Fall of A City (BBC).
In theatre, Seth was casting director on the Offie-nominated Homos, or Everyone in America at the Finborough Theatre in 2018 and the Southwark Playhouse production of Constellations (sadly curtailed due to the Covid-19 pandemic). He was also casting director on Seven Decades at the V & A in 2019 and the short films Ouzo and Blackcurrant (Mini Productions), Muse (NFTS), Nant (Strike Pictres) and Bus Driver (NFTS).
Seth previously worked as casting assistant at Catherine Willis Casting, on a range of projects from Flowers (Channel 4) and Upstart Crow (BBC Two) to Hetty Feather (CBBC) and Plebs (ITV2). He has also worked for Daniel Edwards on Mr Selfridge (ITV) and Born To Kill (Channel 4). Prior to this, he also worked for Gary
Kate Bone
Originally trained as an actress, Kate Bone moved into the Film industry nearly 20 years ago. From Production Coordinator on many major projects including World War Z, Sherlock Holmes & Maleficent she then went into casting and has been working for Casting Directors Nina Gold & Robert Sterne for nearly ten years.
Kate currently continues to cast on the multiple awarding winning Netflix’ The Crown and has done from the very first season. Other recent casting projects include Chernobyl, Succession (UK casting), The Little Stranger, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Game of Thrones and The Imitation Games amongst many others.
Sarah Leung
Sarah was born in Manchester, coming from a mixed British/Chinese background, making her one of the only casting directors in the UK with Chinese heritage. She started her career in film as assistant to producer Larry Franco on “Batman Begins”. Later asked to return on post-production as assistant to Emma Thomas (wife of director Christopher Nolan). From here, Sarah moved into casting, assisting in Film (Warner Bros, Universal) TV (BBC, ITV, C4), Theatre, West End, London.
Most recently Casting Director on, ‘Past Life’ with Emile Hirsch ‘To Wong Foo’ by Douglas Carter Beane, George Takei’s Allegiance, 2 East/SKY, TV projects.
