Sarah Valentine is an international Accent & Dialect Coach with more than 25 years of experience working with actors, voice artists, and performers across film, television, and theatre. She is the creator of the Valentine Method, a practical, actor-friendly approach that helps performers master accents quickly, intuitively, and with confidence — without the overwhelm of phonetics.

Her coaching style blends deep technical understanding with an accessible, playful approach that actors love. She teaches accents across the UK, USA, and worldwide through 1:1 sessions, digital courses, and her weekly Accent Practice Sessions.

Before specialising full-time as an accent coach, Sarah was the founder and owner of BGT Actors, Models & Talent, one of New Zealand’s most successful acting and extras agencies. Under her leadership, BGT supplied thousands of performers to hundreds of film and TV productions, including The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (extras casting), Mission Impossible (extras casting), Mulan, Ghost in the Shell, Pete’s Dragon, Power Rangers, and Amazon’s The Rings of Power.

Sarah is also an actor herself, with screen credits including the award-winning series Top of the Lake (directed by Jane Campion), giving her rare insight from both sides of the camera.

Today, she is best known as “The Actors Accent Coach”, working globally with emerging performers and established professionals who want to elevate their craft and expand their career opportunities through accent agility.
