As an independent casting director, April Webster enjoys working on an eclectic mix of film, television and theater projects that challenge and inspire her. In the film world she has worked on a variety of projects like STAR WARS, STAR TREK BEYOND, MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: Ghost Protocol, and THE PATRIOT, HORIZON, amongst many others, and collaborated with filmmakers like J.J. Abrams, Carlton Cuse, Roland Emmerich, Brad Bird, Jon M. Chu, and most recently Kevin Costner Webster has cast pilots and series for AppleTV+, Netflix and Amazon, including Stephen King's LISEY'S STORY, TOM CLANCY'S JACK RYAN, ALTERED CARBON, and THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY. Other series include BATES MOTEL, CRIMINAL MINDS, THE STRAIN, CLARICE, Stephen King's 11.22.63, SURFACE,The New Star Trek series, as well as returning to cast CRIMINAL MINDS. Webster has received two Media Access Awards from Easter Seals, as well as Artios Awards for casting the pilots of C.S.I. and LOST, and the film STAR TREK, and an Artios Zeitgeist Award for STAR WARS: Episode IX-The Rise of Skywalker. She is also the recipient of the Hoyt Bowers Award for Excellence in Casting, and a Primetime Emmy for the series LOST. Webster serves on Equity in Entertainment Committee of the Casting Society of America.
