The Performer Psychology Workshop : A Practical Toolkit For Auditions and High-Pressure Roles

28 Feb 2026
Commercial Room

Auditions, self-tapes and high-pressure roles ask for more than talent;  they ask for a mind that can perform on cue.

Led by performance psychotherapist, hypnotherapist and working actor Neil Sunley, The Performer Psychology Workshop is a fast, interactive session that takes you inside the mental side of performance. Throughout the session, you’ll experience live demonstrations, group experiments, and surprising psychological shifts that show what’s possible when you train your mindset as deliberately as you train your voice and body.

We’ll explore how subtle changes in focus, belief, and internal “direction” can influence how you enter the space, connect to the material, and leave the room in control of your narrative. You won’t be lectured at; you’ll be invited to test ideas in real time and feel the difference for yourself.

Participation is always optional; join in at the level that feels right for you. Expect a mix of performance psychology, hypnosis-style experiences and practical mindset coaching explicitly tailored to working and aspiring actors.

If you’ve ever left a room thinking “I know I’m better than that”, this workshop is designed to help you change that story.
