Active Embodiment Technique - The Holy Grail of Great Acting
“The cutting edge of actor training available in the world today” - Eddie Marsan
Active Embodiment is a modern, organic acting technique, which allows actors to analyse and create any character’s general and immediate psychology, and express it through imagination and action.
Created by British director, John Osborne Hughes, Active Embodiment is the culmination of the work begun by Stanislavski and further developed by Michael Chekhov and Sam Kogan.
It enables actors to quickly and efficiently find the best choices to serve the story through the characters they play, and to embody them in a truthful, compelling form.
The workshop will cover the theory and practical application of Active Embodiment technique for actors.
