This session will be an Introduction to Singing with the Air Force Regional Bands! It will include a presentation of their unique mission and the inside scoop on how to prepare the best vocal audition material. You’ll also get the chance to learn more from the vocalists and leadership about Air Force life and the job.

Airman First Class Leah Fox is a vocalist for the USAF Band of the West located in San Antonio, TX. She joined the Air Force in January 2019 after living and working in New York City. She attended Otterbein College before transferring to, and graduating from, Point Park University in 2008 with a B.A. in Musical Theatre. A1C Fox’s vocal talents are highlighted as she is the lead singer for the jazz big band, the rock/pop ensemble, and the 40-piece concert band. She is a proud member of the Actors’ Equity Association and honored to be serving her country with The United States Air Force.

Staff Sergeant Michelle Doolittle is a vocalist with the USAF Band of the Golden West, Travis AFB, CA. SSG Doolittle has been praised as a versatile vocalist, performing a wide variety of styles from classical to jazz to pop. A high-pressure performer, she has been seen in televised performances for the MLB World Series, NFL Monday Night Football, and NBA games broadcast to millions across the globe. SSG Doolittle holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from The New England Conservatory of Music, as well as a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from California State University, Fullerton. Her teachers include Ruth Gerson, and Professors Patricia Prunty and Lisa Saffer.
