Matilda will be drawing on her experience at Shakespeare’s Globe, West End, touring & regional theatre to give her advice to actors auditioning for theatre. She will be discussing her advice for applying, auditioning and recalls within the theatre world!

Originally from Cornwall, Matilda was Head of Casting for Shakespeare’s Globe in London between 2012-2017 where she was also Associate Producer on the Globe’s Shakespeare 400 film project, THE COMPLETE WALK.

Since then, casting for screen includes BENJAMIN and POND LIFE, and for stage, FARINELLI AND THE KING in the West End and on Broadway where it was nominated for 5 Tony Awards. She is currently working as CD and co-producer with writer/director Pascal Bergamin on his feature PORTRAITS OF DANGEROUS WOMEN, as well as on several shorts.

Matilda specialises in casting, dramaturgy and strategic planning across the creative arts and is also Executive Producer of Citizens of the World Choir, a choir for people seeking sanctuary and asylum.
