Emma will be discussing how casting children for the UK’s internal casting department at the BBC works – from receiving the script to selecting actors to be seen, the process they have in the audition room and a parent’s role in ensuring a smooth audition!

About Emma:

Emma has been working in house at the BBC in it’s continuing drama department for the past 5 years, starting as an assistant across all shows and moving on as a Casting Director on Father Brown, Casualty & Doctors. Emma is a probationary member of the Casting Directors Guild. Currently on Maternity leave.
