This seminar will introduce the basic principles of the premiere original Meisner training for actors. Attendees will do some initial Meisner exercises during this seminar.
Covering the main Meisner principles such as the difference between it and all other acting techniques: using the imagination, how to emotionalize, and how to create clear and impactful acting choices necessary for skilled and effective auditions and performances.
Baron Brown uses their improvisational Meisner technique in it’s creation of film, tv , and theater and will explain how their productions like the Sundance indie “Perfume” with Michelle Williams and Jeff Goldblum utilizes the acting training.

As an actress, Miss Baron has starred in the film Halloween Ends with Jamie Lee Curtis and is about to begin a recurring role on a major hit series. Her most iconic roles include This Is 40 with Melissa McCarthy, Curb Your Enthusiasm with Larry David, and Valley Girl with Nicolas Cage. She has written her life story and will be starring in her autobiographical film, Pawtucket, this spring.
