Stop Waiting, Start Creating
As an Actor you’ll be used to periods of down time when work isn’t as abundant as you’d like it to be. During these times it’s important to stay sharp and stay creative to ensure you feel empowered between acting jobs. During quarantine Jeremy Gordon and producing partner/actor, Spencer Garrett, teamed up with actor/writer/director, Jerry Ying, who created the hit IGTV series, Quarantine, in order to be the first season long TV Series shot entirely on Zoom, while simultaneously donating 100% of their proceeds to the SAG AFTRA Foundation. Tune in to hear how this idea came to fruition and get advice from Jeremy on finding new ways to always be creative, because creating your own opportunities will undoubtedly open up new avenues in your career. In an industry where it can be hard to feel in control, creating is something you don’t need a ‘yes’ to do.

Jeremy Gordon, CSA has been a Casting Director and Producer in LA for 15 years working in the studio/network world as well as the indie world spanning mediums from film & TV to digital platforms, podcasts and more. Most recently Jeremy was the Casting Director and Producer on the original IGTV series, Quarantine, a first of its kind digital series shot entirely on Zoom which donated 100% of their proceeds to the SAG AFTRA Foundation Covid-19 Disaster Relief Fund. The cast of 10 series regulars includes Spencer Garrett, Alicia Minshew & Justin Chu Cary and celebrity guest stars such as Steven Weber, Bree Turner, Rob Morrow, Reno Wilson & Willie Garson. Recent past projects include Rob Reiner’s “Shock & Awe” starring Woody Harrelson, Tommy Lee Jones & James Marsden. With their new formed Garrett/Gordon Productions, alongside producing partner/actor, Spencer Garrett, Jeremy cast and produced the #1 hit scripted podcast, “America 2.0” starring Laurence Fishburne, Patrick J. Adams, Kate Walsh, Ming Na Wen & Shanola Hampton.
